Amazon Luna Now Available To Everyone In The US

Back in 2020, Amazon debuted Luna, its game streaming service. However, at the point of its debut, the service was only available in the form of early access which was kind of like a beta of sorts, but the good news is that if you’ve been eager to take the service for a spin, you can.

Amazon has announced that Luna will now be available to everyone in the mainland US. There will be three new “channels” that you can choose from to subscribe to, which for those unfamiliar is basically Amazon’s term for the different tiers or subscription bundles that will be available for gamers.

There will be a Prime Gaming Channel which will be available to Prime customers that will offer them a rotating selection of games for free. Then there is also a Retro Channel which, as the name suggests, will offer older but classic games like Street Fighter II, Metal Slug 3, and so on. Last but not least is the Jackbox Games Channel that will include family style games.

This is in addition to the Luna Plus and Family Channel. Luna will be priced at $4.99 a month for the Retro and Jackbox Games Channels, $5.99 for Family Channel, $9.99 for Luna Plus, and for the Prime Gaming Channel, it will require a Prime subscription priced at $14.99 a month or $139 which will grant you perks and features of the Prime service in addition to the Prime Gaming Channel.
